iSiMAR has been working with the same pure, natural, and environmentally friendly materials with care and knowledge for the last 55 years; mainly with galvanized rod, but also aluminum and galvanized steel in sheet and tube. Our product has always been exposed to humid and highly corrosive environments, working in industries such as poultry equipment or industrial refrigerators. Therefore we have acquired the experience and knowledge necessary to live in outdoor environments.
Almost ten years ago, we decided to expand our industrial plan into creating contemporary exterior furniture designs. These designs are unique in their visual lightness and carefulness towards the architectural spaces that rod provides.
We conceive each collection, together with architects and designers, with the purpose of producing pieces that inspire professionals in creating clean, modern, comfortable and functional spaces. ISiMAR products result from the combination of these designs, the use of natural materials, our industrial expertise and our roots of healthy, genuine, Mediterranean country that likes to share memoirs and life experiences.
m.a.d. furniture design was created to bring people together with furniture that is comfortable and inspiring.
m.a.d was founded by long-time friends Matt Cole and Dan Given. Both have worked in Asia for over ten years developing furniture and managing the supply chains for large US and European retailers. While proud of their work for others, they wanted to create products that they would be happy to put in their own homes.
In 2010, while having dinner with American designer Mark Daniel, the idea was thrown out that all three should pool their talents – Matt as Managing Director, Dan as Technical Director, and Mark as Creative Director – and create a company of their own. Truly an international collaboration, m.a.d. (which stands for Matt and Dan) was created to fill a void in the market place – original, high quality, modern furniture that is actually affordable.
The m.a.d. collection features dining chairs and tables, barstools, lounge chairs, accent tables and lighting geared towards the home, work and hospitality environments.
The assortment includes over 40 originally designed products that are simple and elegant in form, and physically and stylistically built to last.m.a.d. is proud to be used in homes, offices, restaurants and co-working/living environments worldwide.

Sandler Seating was founded in London in 1982 by Roy Sandler as an offshoot of Sandler Upholsterers, a family business specializing in custom upholstery which was itself founded in 1946. Sandler Seating’s first activity was the upholstery, assembly, and distribution of portable seating systems for multi-purpose venues. This activity still plays an important role for the company today.
In 1989 Sandler Seating began to distribute Italian designed furniture for the restaurant, hospitality and contract markets and soon became a leading player in the UK contract furniture market. In 1996 Sandler set up a sister company, Sandler Seating Inc., in Atlanta, Georgia to service the US contract furniture market. With its own customer service offices in Atlanta and 50,000 sq ft warehouse in North Carolina, Sandler Seating Inc. is admirably positioned to take advantage of the dynamic US market.
It has created a sales force of over 80 independent sales representatives offering national coverage of the Sandler hospitality and contract line. Located in Odessa, Florida, our tabletops are made on-site by local craftsmen. We specialize in creating our tables with many different materials and finishes. All of our tables are easy to clean and are exceptionally suitable for commercial food service applications.
